Comments: The enzyme, characterized from the bacterium Arthrobacter sp. Cr-7, participates in the degradation of pyridoxine. The enzyme also catalyses the activity of EC 18.104.22.1686, isopyridoxal dehydrogenase (5-pyridoxolactone-forming).
