Comments: In addition (R)-piperidine-3-carboxamide is hydrolysed to (R)-piperidine-3-carboxylic acid and NH3, and (R)-N-tert-butylpiperazine-2-carboxamide is hydrolysed to (R)-piperazine-2-carboxylic acid and tert-butylamine with lower activity. The enzyme does not act on the other amide substrates which are hydrolysed by EC 188.8.131.52 (amidase).
