ADP-ribose
Semisystematic Name:
adenosine 5'-(5-deoxy-D-ribofuranos-5-yl diphosphate).
Synonyms:
adenosine diphosphate ribose
adenosine 5'-(D-ribofuranose 5-diphosphate)
adenosine(5')diphospho(5)-D-ribose
D-ribofuranose 5-(5'-adenylyl phosphate)
Note: The term "ADP-ribose" is used in the literature to mean adenosine 5'-(5-deoxyribofuranos-5-yl diphosphate). Hence it designates a very different structure from other NDP-sugars, which have a glycosyl substituent on the diphosphate of the NDP
