Comments: The enzyme specifically dephosphorylates long-chain sphingoid base phosphates such as sphingosine 1-phosphate, sphinganine 1-phosphate, and phytosphingosine 1-phosphate. It does not act on ceramide 1-phosphate, lysophosphatidic acids, or phosphatidic acids. cf.
