H3N+enz represents the side chain of a lysine residue of the enzyme
Overall reaction:
fructose 1,6-bisphosphate = D-glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate + glycerone phosphate
The transformation is shown in the direction it occurs in glycolysis; the direction is the reverse in the Calvin cycle and pentose phosphate pathway.
