This document consolidates the section Subclass 3.4 of Enzyme Nomenclature 1992 [San Diego, California, ISBN 0-12-227164-5 (hardback), 0-12-227165-3 (paperback)] with Supplement 1 (1993), Supplement 2 (1994), Supplement 3 (1995), Supplement 4 (1997), supplement 6, supplement 7, supplement 8, supplement 9, supplement 10 and supplement 11 (Supplements 1-4 were previously published in Eur. J. Biochem. 223, 1-5, 1994; Eur. J. Biochem. 232, 1-6, 1995, Eur. J. Biochem. 237, 1-5, 1996, and Eur. J. Biochem. 250, 1-6, 1997, respectively).
Suggestions and comments should be made to Professor K.F. Tipton and Dr S. Boyce (Department of Biochemistry, Trinity College Dublin, Dublin 2, Ireland).
